What you will do

• Conduct HACT financial spot checks for assigned partners using standard UN templates and procedures.
• Verify that reported expenditures are adequately supported, recorded, and aligned with agreed workplans.
• Assess changes in financial management and internal control environments since prior assurance activities.
• Reconcile FACE forms with accounting records, bank statements, and payroll documentation.
• Prepare detailed spot check reports and maintain a live tracker of findings and follow-up actions.
• Support the strengthening of follow-up for high-priority findings and documentation of corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Advanced degree or professional certifications like CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA are assets).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in financial review, audit, or donor-funded programme assurance.
• Fluency in English and Tagalog (verbal and written) is required.
• Must be based in or available for duty in Manila and willing to travel within the Philippines.
• Proven ability to conduct both remote and onsite financial verifications.
• Experience with HACT, FACE forms, and UN financial management tools is highly desirable.
