What you will do

• Implement and maintain Company Safety and Health Procedures on moderately complex projects.
• Administer the project Drug and Alcohol Substance Abuse Program and develop employee training programs.
• Conduct detailed site safety inspections and lead incident and injury investigations.
• Manage construction contractor safety programs and interface with clients and government officials.
• Administer project worker's compensation programs and procedures.
• Supervise, train, and manage the performance of Safety and Health Specialists and Interns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of safety and health experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding, including criminal background checks and drug screens.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience in a construction environment.
• Certifications in First Aid, CPR, Drug testing, and OSHA 500/501.
• Knowledge of safety and health standards, substance abuse policies, and contract administration.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions or heights up to 5 feet.
