What you will do

• Coordinate safety activities for power generation and data center operations, including planned outages.
• Develop, implement, and maintain occupational health and safety programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Inspect facilities, identify hazards, conduct Job Hazard Analyses, and follow up on corrective and preventive measures.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, near misses, and illnesses; prepare root-cause analyses and required reports.
• Deliver and track training on workplace safety, fire prevention, chemicals, equipment, and safe handling practices.
• Maintain safety records, OSHA logs, MSHA reports, SOPs, JSAs, and written safety programs while advising operational leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management, industrial safety, or industrial hygiene with two years of safety-related experience, or five years of relevant experience in solid-fuel power generation or a power-related business.
• At least two years of power plant-related experience, including two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Board certification such as CSP, ASP, OHST, CUSA, or CIH, where applicable to the experience pathway.
• Strong communication, technical writing, presentation, and safety-training skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work onsite at the Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania facility; post-offer physical examination and drug screening are required.
