Sr. Manager, Field Engineering (Financial Services)

Location: Must be based in Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, D.C. Open to remote candidates within these regions, with a preference for those near office hubs in the North East or Midwest.

Salary: $192,100 — $264,175 USD

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of Solutions Architects for the Financial Services segment of the Regulated Industries team.
• Partner with Sales to increase revenue and help customers achieve success via the Data Intelligence Platform.
• Establish and maintain a robust hiring pipeline to scale the Field Engineering team.
• Ensure the team remains at the technical forefront of big data, ML, and generative AI.
• Foster external partnerships with systems integrators (SIs) and independent software vendors (ISVs).
• Guide technical qualification, validations, and architecture discussions to provide comprehensive customer solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the data space (data warehousing, big data, machine learning, or generative AI).
• Proven experience building and leading technical pre-sales teams, including hiring, onboarding, and mentoring.
• Experience acting as a trusted advisor to technical executives for strategic data infrastructure decisions.
• Strong understanding of consumption-driven business models for long-term growth.
• Ability to influence and review complex, scalable architectures.
• Must be technical enough to earn the trust of Engineering leadership.
