Sr. Manager, Accounts Payable

Salary: $131,000–$170,000 USD base salary, with potential incentive compensation and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team while managing capacity, workload, performance, and skill development.
• Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, AP aging, vendor inquiries, payment issues, disputes, and close activities.
• Partner with Accounting, Procurement, Treasury, Finance Systems, IT, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Optimize AP workflows in Coupa and NetSuite, increase electronic payments, and support supplier portal adoption.
• Maintain fraud prevention, vendor validation, payment verification, segregation of duties, and approval controls.
• Lead process standardization, reporting, continuous improvement, audit support, and remediation of control gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, P2P workflows, accounting principles, and SOX-compliant environments.
• Experience with ERP and AP automation tools, including NetSuite and Coupa.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading remote or distributed teams and implementing process or system improvements.
