What you will do

• Partner with Product, Sales, and Legal to design revenue recognition policies under ASC 606 for new product offerings.
• Author and document technical position papers for complex transactions and corporate acquisitions.
• Evaluate consumption-based billing and multi-element packaging to determine performance obligations and accounting treatments.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to automate technical revenue processes and improve accounting efficiency.
• Act as the primary contact for external auditors and maintain SOX control documentation.
• Support month-end close, revenue reporting, and flux analysis.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Active CPA license and Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years specifically in Technical Revenue.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606, including standalone selling price, POB identification, and variable consideration.
• Strong technical writing skills for authoring audit-defensible position papers.
• Proficiency with NetSuite, Salesforce, and advanced Excel.

Nice to have

• Prior Public Accounting experience focusing on Revenue (ASC 606).
• Exposure to merger and acquisition diligence or post-close revenue integration.
• Proficiency with generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
