What you will do

• Develop and implement creative, inclusive early care and learning environments based on the British Columbia Early Learning Framework.
• Supervise children using observation and positive guidance techniques to support emerging abilities.
• Establish and maintain professional, respectful relationships with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with a team of Educators to align on program vision, pedagogy, and goals.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and licensing protocols, including infectious control and safe food practices.
• Document and report serious incidences and suspected abuse to appropriate authorities.

Requirements

• Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification to practice in BC.
• Current Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Clear Criminal Record Check.
• High level of spoken and written English skills for effective communication with staff and parents.
• Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including lifting and carrying children.
