Professional Services Manager – Early Childhood Education (Early Learning Services): Leading licensed childcare and early learning resource services for children and families with an accent on inclusive programming, regulatory compliance, and service quality. Location: Northeastern Ontario, with travel within Algoma required.
Salary: CAD 93,951–111,618 per year.

is a non-profit Children’s Treatment Centre providing family-centred, strengths-based services for children and families in Northeastern Ontario.
What you will do
- Lead the licensed childcare program and Early Learning Resource services in collaboration with the Preschool Supervisor and resource team.
- Oversee licensing, regulatory, and Ministry compliance while supporting operational planning and program development.
- Evaluate service models, lead quality improvement initiatives, and plan staffing and other resources.
- Coach and develop early childhood professionals while fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe workplace.
- Build relationships with families, childcare partners, educators, community agencies, and sector networks.
- Guide inclusive programming and enhanced support planning, manage budgets and staffing, and respond to complex situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators as a RECE.
- 3–5 years of experience in licensed childcare and 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of childcare licensing, compliance, and quality standards.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Algoma.

- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Experience in publicly funded health, child development, or community services.
