Salary: $25.50 – $35.50 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and implement necessary repairs or modifications.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Digitally document completed work and equipment usage using mobile technological tools.
• Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at all times.
• Travel regularly to support various wind farms within the region or elsewhere in Canada.

Requirements

• Industrial Electrician Journeyman – Red Seal certification required.
• Technical diploma or certification in electromechanics, electrical technology, or wind turbine maintenance.
• Proven professional experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
• Availability for overtime, weekend on-call rotations, and occasional travel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of basic first aid and high-angle rescue procedures.
• Experience working with medium-voltage switchgear and transformers.
