Civil Engineering Technologist (Renewable Energy)

What you will do

• Create preliminary design sketches, civil engineering drawings, and Bills of Material (BoM) during the RFP phase.
• Develop and maintain maps, GIS workflows, and tools for field data collection and geoprocessing.
• Review consultant deliverables, including layouts and specifications, to ensure quality and consistency.
• Coordinate civil designs with other technical disciplines, specifically environment and occupational health and safety.
• Interface with project management and construction teams throughout all project phases.

Requirements

• Diploma or associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in civil design for wind, solar, and BESS projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D, RoadEng, Global Mapper, and ArcGIS Pro / Enterprise.
• Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken) is required.
• Must be based in Longueuil (QC) or Vancouver (BC), Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with PVCase or other solar design software.
