AV Team Lead (Audio Visual)

Location: On-site in Charlotte or Raleigh, NC. Requires regional travel 75%-85% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead on-site installation of displays, projectors, audio, control, and teleconferencing systems.
• Install, test, and terminate low-voltage cabling including Cat6, fiber, HDMI, HDBaseT, and speaker wire.
• Provide guidance and direction to junior technicians and subcontractors.
• Execute complex rack wiring for divisible spaces, auditoriums, and large-format environments.
• Configure and validate collaboration platforms including Webex, MS Teams, and Zoom.
• Collaborate with AV engineers and Project Managers to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in the AV industry.
• Ability to work on ladders/lifts and lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret AV signal flow diagrams and as-built drawings.

Nice to have

• AV industry certifications such as CTS, Extron, AVIXA, Shure, Biamp, Crestron, Poly, or Cisco.
• 5 years of specific AV integration experience.
