What you will do

• Lead complex tax information reporting processes across US and Canadian obligations, including Forms 1099, 1042-S, 945, T5, and T5008.
• Own escalation review and resolution for complex client, business, tax authority, and regulator inquiries.
• Oversee data quality, reconciliations, exception management, regulatory filing readiness, and operational controls.
• Provide technical and operational guidance to analysts and associates and review their work.
• Partner with Technology, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and business stakeholders to design scalable reporting and withholding solutions.
• Identify risks, lead remediation, improve processes, and support management reporting and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Operations, Taxation, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
• Experience leading complex operational processes, regulatory deliverables, or control-focused initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, judgment, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, control integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.

Nice to have

• Background in accounting, auditing, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, or tax operations, preferably in financial services.
• Knowledge of NRA, FATCA, Backup Withholding, Chapters 3 and 4, and 871(m) reporting requirements.
• Experience with US and Canadian tax forms, regulatory reporting cycles, control reviews, issue remediation, or process improvement.
• SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data analysis and workflow automation skills.
