Forward Deployed Engineer (AI-powered search and recommendations): Building prototypes and technical proofs that turn DACH customer requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions with an accent on solution architecture, APIs, data pipelines, and full-stack systems. Focus on validating ambiguous use cases, solving feasibility and performance challenges, and accelerating adoption through experimentation, workshops, and technical ownership.

Location: Remote in Germany, supporting DACH customers during European business hours with travel to customer sites as required.

What you will do

• Clarify customer needs and shape use cases, solution architectures, and technical requirements.
• Build working prototypes and technical proofs across APIs, data pipelines, and frontend/backend systems.
• Translate business and architectural requirements into functional, testable solutions.
• Validate feasibility, performance, and scalability through hands-on experimentation.
• Iterate toward production readiness, create reusable patterns, and share technical insights internally.
• Own technical delivery for assigned DACH accounts, including workshops, requirements sessions, documentation, demos, and customer-site engagements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, system integration, or a related field.
• Professional fluency in German and English, written and spoken, is required for customer-facing delivery.
• Strong technical prototyping skills covering APIs, data pipelines, and frontend/backend systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working effectively in ambiguous, high-impact environments.
• Ability to work European business hours and travel to customer sites when required.
