Forward Deployed Engineer

Location: Remote across Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Includes 5-day on-site customer engagements and approximately 30–50% travel, primarily across Europe. Visa sponsorship is available for Germany; for other countries, existing right to work is required.

What you will do

• Lead focused enterprise deployment engagements, embedding on-site with customers and delivering production workflows within five-day engagements.
• Design and build workflows, integrations, custom nodes, and scalable automation solutions across customer environments and technology stacks.
• Translate ambiguous business and operational problems into practical technical designs focused on customer value.
• Partner with customers, Deployment Strategists, Product, and Engineering to align execution with priorities, stakeholder needs, and adoption goals.
• Identify reusable node improvements and product capabilities, documenting technical gaps, customer context, and implementation learnings.
• Contribute workflows, custom nodes, integration patterns, and reusable learnings to internal playbooks.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack or backend engineering experience, including production integrations, APIs, or automation pipelines.
• Ability to create custom nodes and extend integrations using APIs, authentication patterns, data models, and event-driven systems.
• Product-minded technical judgment to distinguish customer workarounds, reusable node improvements, and product features.
• Confidence working directly in customer environments and building trust with engineers, operators, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to turn unclear operational problems into clean, practical technical designs and avoid unnecessary complexity.
• Ability to become productive quickly in new industries, technology stacks, and customer environments.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30–50% of the time for on-site engagements, primarily across Europe.
• For countries other than Germany, existing right to work is required.
• English is the company language.

• Experience with hirify.global or similar workflow automation tools.
• Enterprise deployment experience in complex technical environments.
• Experience building custom nodes, connectors, plugins, SDKs, or reusable integration frameworks.
• Forward-deployed or solutions engineering experience at a product-led technical organization.
• Experience turning customer learnings into product feedback, roadmap input, or engineering specifications.
