What you will do

• Drive enterprise API adoption by building features like usage insights, cost controls, and governance tooling.
• Design and implement security controls including RBAC, data residency, and audit-ability for regulated organizations.
• Own services end-to-end, including participation in on-call rotations and maintaining four nines of reliability.
• Architect complex enterprise capabilities while navigating dependencies across multiple stakeholder teams.
• Implement strong contract testing, monitoring, and SLOs to prevent breaking changes.
• Leverage AI-powered coding tools to accelerate delivery and focus on high-value architectural problem-solving.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in backend development using C# and .NET.
• Strong experience designing scalable RESTful APIs and distributed architectures in production.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise API building blocks such as OAuth and CLI integrations.
• Proven track record of leading projects across multiple teams and managing complex dependencies.
• Commitment to operational excellence, including end-to-end ownership and on-call responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills with an enterprise-first mindset focused on security and compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience with zero-downtime migrations on live systems.
• Knowledge of metering, quota, or usage-data systems.
• Background in compliance environments such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or C5.
