Senior VDC Engineer, Civil (Civil3D)

Location: Remote within the United States; US work authorization required. Conditions list 200 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601, USA.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead Civil3D modeling, coordination, and digital delivery for major civil and infrastructure projects.
• Guide Manila production teams on modeling standards, technical questions, and quality consistency.
• Present models, findings, and constructability insights to clients in virtual coordination meetings.
• Improve workflows, templates, QA/QC checks, and handoff structures for global digital delivery.
• Support Navisworks clash detection, cross-discipline model integration, issue tracking, and resolution planning.
• Contribute to training and knowledge sharing while testing AI-driven modeling and coordination tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in BIM/VDC execution for civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong Civil3D modeling and civil utility comprehension, including grading, drainage, site infrastructure, and constructability.
• Experience coordinating with or working for general contractors or sitework/excavation teams.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, communicate clearly, and stay organized in a fast-moving remote environment.
• Ability to lead virtual meetings, present technical content, and guide cross-functional decisions.
• Familiarity with Navisworks coordination, clash detection, and multi-discipline model integration.
• Collaborative and proactive approach with motivation to improve workflows and team performance.
