What you will do

• Perform complex structural analysis and engineering design for traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Apply expert-level lateral analysis and design principles, incorporating wind and seismic provisions per US building codes.
• Coordinate with structural designers and drafting teams to integrate requirements into 3D BIM models.
• Take complete ownership of assigned project scopes, ensuring execution within schedule, budget, and quality parameters.
• Perform rigorous quality control and independent calculation checking of other engineers' work.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and active mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (Master's preferred).
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; Structural Engineer (SE) license is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering and design.
• Proven experience leading small engineering teams or acting as a task lead on complex projects.
• Proficiency with STAAD and coordination tools like Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Must be based in the US to support hybrid requirements and site evaluations.
