What you will do

• Lead and manage a production department to achieve operational objectives in safety, product quality, reliability, and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement by utilizing Kaizen tools to eliminate waste and optimize value-added processes.
• Create and maintain a pull system based on customer demand (takt time) using one-piece-flow.
• Ensure zero-defect performance and monitor compliance with ISO 9000 certification and HMI quality plans.
• Maintain a strong shop floor focus, spending 80% of time directly in the production area.
• Manage employee selection, training, and professional development to increase business contribution.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of successful supervisory experience in an operations environment or a leadership role.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO quality systems fundamentals.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to effectively use office automation and communication software.
• Ability to lead and hold direct labor employees accountable to standardized work.
