Salary: $160,000–$200,000 USD

What you will do

• Architect a unified product engineering strategy focused on modularity, reusability, reliability, and risk reduction.
• Own the full lifecycle of multi-platform products and features, from client applications through Kotlin/JVM backend services.
• Define engineering standards for performance, accessibility, security, privacy, and clinical-grade quality.
• Build and maintain shared libraries and DSLs that support rapid deployments for health system partners.
• Modernize development systems with agentic AI tools and provide technical leadership in complex situations.
• Mentor engineers and promote ownership while maintaining high delivery standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building robust customer-facing products across the stack.
• Strong Node and TypeScript experience; Kotlin or Java on the JVM is a major plus.
• Experience building resilient APIs, particularly with GraphQL and TypeScript middle layers.
• Experience developing web and mobile products with strong attention to customer experience and non-functional quality.
• Proficiency with modern agentic development tools such as Claude Code.
• Experience with reusable frameworks, white-label solutions, or multi-tenant architectures, plus a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Deep knowledge of security practices and data encryption.
• Experience with FHIR, HL7, or EHR integrations.
