Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 USD per year, plus 10% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Design and ship high-impact features for the Dice platform using a modern cloud-native stack.
• Provide technical leadership and drive architectural decisions for scalable, high-availability services.
• Integrate AI agents into the development lifecycle to automate repetitive tasks and improve code quality.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams to translate user problems into shipped outcomes.
• Mentor teammates and hold a high bar for engineering standards and code quality.
• Reduce technical debt and improve system performance through thoughtful design and refactoring.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven experience building production-grade applications with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL services in production.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React and Next.js.
• Demonstrated experience building highly available applications on AWS with CI/CD and container-based deployment.
• Experience with automated testing and a strong ownership mindset for quality.
• Experience using AI coding agents as a core part of the development workflow.

Nice to have

• Comfort applying LLM-based tooling to practical data problems.
• Working knowledge of Python or Java.
• Strong data modeling and database skills (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with distributed, event-driven systems (SNS/SQS, Lambda).
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy systems.
