What you will do

  • Drive independent development, testing, and integration of complex FPGA RTL code for high-performance imaging systems.
  • Integrate FPGA subsystems with software and system components in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Perform FPGA functional and constrained-random simulation, synthesis, implementation, and system testing.
  • Debug firmware and FPGA functionality on prototype PCB assemblies.
  • Prepare technical documentation that meets manufacturing and service quality standards.

Requirements

  • Lead-level FPGA engineering experience with Xilinx or Altera architectures.
  • Experience with SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL RTL design and FPGA implementation.
  • Knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces and circuitry, including 10G SerDes, PCIe, and DDR.
  • Understanding of timing analysis, CDC analysis, and PCB-to-FPGA interface constraints.
  • Experience with firmware integration, debugging, and system testing on prototype PCB assemblies.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience, master’s degree with 3 years, or doctorate with no required related experience.

Nice to have

  • PCB board design and test experience.
  • Experience with Vivado/ISE, Synplify, Questa/ModelSim, Python, MATLAB, or OrCAD.
