Managing Consultant - Energy Supply Chain (IT Programs)

Location: Onsite in Houston, TX, USA. Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time is required.

What you will do

• Perform deep quantitative and qualitative analysis to guide strategic procurement and capital project decisions for energy clients.
• Conduct market research to assess supply and demand factors influencing business strategy.
• Support bidding processes, including pricing analysis, bidder negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Manage sourcing and vendor selection for client IT and digital programs, such as ERP and GIS implementations.
• Mentor junior staff and perform QA/QC on the work of Consultants and Senior Consultants.
• Utilize the WoodMac Energy Intelligence Platform to build cost models and forecast escalation.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in engineering, science, supply chain, or business; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering.
• Experience within the Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Must be based in the Houston, TX office.
