Consultant (Education Consulting)

Location: Remote in the US, with travel to client sites, business conferences, and PCG meetings required 20–30%. Additional preference for candidates in Boston, Charlotte, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, or Nashville regions.

What you will do

• Manage complex education consulting projects as project manager and subject matter expert.
• Develop and execute growth strategies, identify new sales opportunities, and support contract renewals.
• Advise state education agencies and school districts on special education, curriculum, professional development, business operations, compliance, and efficiency improvements.
• Develop communication plans, elicit stakeholder requirements, facilitate client discussions, and identify effective workarounds.
• Create project budgets and staffing plans, monitor delivery, delegate responsibilities, and keep work on schedule and within budget.
• Lead proposal writing teams and prepare reports, presentations, and other client materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant experience required; a graduate degree is a plus.
• At least five years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience in special education, curriculum, or K–12 education leadership desired.
• Ability to analyze and interpret education policy, briefs, and regulations.
• Strong project management, communication, presentation, analytical, critical-thinking, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with teams and clients.

Nice to have

• Supervisory experience, although it is not required during the first six months.
• Graduate degree.
