Land Agent (Infrastructure)

TL;DR

Location: Must be based around St Cloud and Prior Lake, Minnesota, or be willing to travel to project sites for extended periods

Salary: $35-50 per hour

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and stakeholders to manage the acquisition of real property rights for energy projects.
• Negotiate easements, leases, fee property, permits, and damage settlements.
• Conduct public record searches to determine land ownership and title chains.
• Analyze local land values to develop acquisition offer ranges and pre-assess damage payments.
• Represent clients in meetings with state and county government officials.
• Document all correspondence and landowner communications using Microsoft Office.

Requirements

• Associate's degree with at least 2 years of land services experience (linear experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of real estate principles.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multi-disciplinary tasks.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible or long hours.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mapping platforms such as Google Earth.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participating employer)
