Senior Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: U.S. citizenship is required for access to classified information; regular travel to staff sites in Scottsdale, Arizona, Boise, Idaho, and Salt Lake City, Utah is expected.

Salary: USD $184,562–$194,665 per year.

What you will do

• Lead engineering program execution, technical performance, cost control, planning, integration, and delivery across the business segment.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and introduce new technologies, methods, and tools for continuous improvement.
• Manage engineering risks, staffing issues, contractual-scope deviations, mitigation plans, budgets, forecasts, and labor utilization.
• Define technical strategy with business leaders and provide engineering direction for proposals and execution challenges.
• Lead engineering proposal content, approval of execution baselines, and implementation of business-driven IR&D.
• Grow engineering teams through hiring, performance management, headcount planning, training, and employee recognition.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant supervisory experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, or at least 8 years with a master's degree.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at hire and eligibility for access to classified information are required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Experience leading and growing teams delivering technologically complex programs in changing environments.
• Ability to lead multifunctional teams in designing, developing, and delivering products, communicate across organizational levels, and build customer relationships.
• Regular travel to staff sites is required.

Nice to have

• Expertise in anti-tamper, hardware physical security, or commercial product development.
• Knowledge of building and executing anti-tamper and physical-security programs across multiple product lines.
• Experience with production-focused programs, DTC/DTUPC, and manufacturability.
• Existing Secret clearance.
