Technical Program Manager (Silicon): Owning end-to-end execution of custom silicon for Claude, from architecture definition through production ramp with an accent on silicon lifecycle management and external partner coordination. Salary: $365,000 - $435,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the integrated silicon program plan including architecture closure, RTL freeze, DV milestones, and post-silicon bring-up.
• Drive execution across external partners, including ASIC design services, IP vendors, foundries, and OSATs.
• Manage technology and IP selection, landing build/buy/license decisions with engineering leadership.
• Establish lightweight execution mechanisms for risk tracking, design reviews, and release management.
• Coordinate hardware-software co-design between silicon and inference/kernels/compiler teams.
• Develop and implement AI-assisted approaches to program management for schedule and dependency modeling.

Requirements

• 8+ years in silicon/SoC program management or equivalent chip lead roles.
• Direct ownership of at least one program that reached tapeout and production.
• Technical fluency across the silicon lifecycle: front-end, DV, PD, DFT, foundry, and packaging.
• Experience managing external silicon partners, including SOW scoping and delivery tracking.
• Strong written communication skills for executive reporting and cross-team planning.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco or New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML accelerators, high-performance compute, or large high-bandwidth SoCs.
• Background in first-generation silicon programs and standing up vendor relationships from scratch.
• Prior hands-on engineering experience in design, DV, PD, or DFT.
• Practical experience integrating AI tools into professional workflows.
