Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $73,200–$117,800 per year

What you will do

• Lead one or two production areas and provide daily support to manufacturing teams in union and non-union environments.
• Plan and facilitate work to achieve production schedules, quality, housekeeping, and safety objectives.
• Coach team members, provide performance feedback, and support employee development.
• Investigate process and product nonconformances, perform root-cause analyses, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Maintain 5S, standard work, value stream mapping, and production records.
• Support maintenance, continuous improvement, value stream projects, machine and process changes, and Kaizen events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and three or more years of manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to supervise, schedule, evaluate, and support employees performing similar work.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication, analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
