What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers.
- Own the technical performance of assigned Linear Transfer Systems product lines throughout the product lifecycle.
- Partner with Production, Quality, Programs, Engineering, customers, and other stakeholders to prioritize technical support and resolve complex challenges.
- Lead root cause analysis, failure investigations, corrective actions, risk assessments, and technical investigations.
- Champion Design for Manufacturability and support technical data package reviews, design reviews, bids, and proposals.
- Drive Lean manufacturing, process optimization, SPC, SMED, cell design, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related discipline preferred. A master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant manufacturing, product, or project engineering experience.
- Experience with structured problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, failure investigation, project management, technical writing, and cost estimating.
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and balance engineering rigor with production, customer, schedule, and business requirements.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or similar methodologies.
- Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance and be eligible to work on U.S. DoD and ITAR-restricted programs.

- Experience developing or improving manufacturing processes.
- Experience with energetic systems, ordnance devices, missile systems, launch vehicles, or other aerospace and defense products.
