Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Full-time position on the first shift, with possible overtime or weekend work to support critical mission milestones. The role requires eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled information as a U.S. person or through deemed export licensing.
Salary: $96,760–$137,352 per year in California, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do
- Organize, prioritize, and communicate daily development and manufacturing assignments for a technician team.
- Lead work and safety culture, train and onboard technicians, and support daily team execution.
- Set up and perform vibration and shock testing for avionics systems, including operation of electrodynamic shakers.
- Support avionics manufacturing improvements focused on efficiency, quality, cost, waste reduction, and production throughput.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with quality assurance teams to improve manufacturability, reliability, and quality-control processes.
- Maintain laboratory and workshop infrastructure, including tools, consumables, cleanliness, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a technical field, preferably aerospace.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience managing or guiding teams.
- At least 3 years of experience performing vibration and shock testing.
- Manufacturing experience within a quality system such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
- Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing to access U.S. export-controlled information.
Nice to have
- Experience with CAD software such as Siemens NX and manufacturing documentation including standard operating procedures and work orders.
- Knowledge of IPC standards and regulations relevant to avionics manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting avionics systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
