Senior Engineering Manager (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Singapore; collaboration across split time zones is required.

What you will do

• Lead and build an engineering team responsible for a cloud-based creator platform.
• Ramp up on the platform architecture and operations by pairing with retained engineers and joining the on-call rotation.
• Manage the blended team of retained and newly hired engineers.
• Design and run onboarding paths based on technical documentation, shadowing rotations, and subsystem sign-off criteria.
• Track knowledge-transfer risks, maintain subsystem ownership maps, and eliminate single-person dependencies.
• Provide technical input on integration decisions and make the platform independently operable.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience and 2–4 years of team management experience.
• Recent hands-on coding or production-operations experience is required.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, GCP or an equivalent cloud platform, event-driven microservices, TypeScript, and Go.
• Experience learning large unfamiliar codebases quickly and teaching them to others.
• Experience with acquisitions, team takeovers, or legacy adoption is strongly preferred over greenfield-only backgrounds.
• Comfort with collaboration across split time zones is required.
