Director of Product Management (Security): Shaping the strategy and direction for the Master Lock & Sentry Safe security product portfolio with an accent on safes and locks categories. Location: Hybrid based in Deerfield, Illinois (Work from home on Mondays and Fridays)

Salary: $140,000 – $200,000 USD

What you will do

• Shape and evolve the strategy for a large security product portfolio, balancing existing product lifecycles with new innovations.
• Lead the translation of product strategies into successful products from concept through commercialization.
• Develop pricing strategies and consumer segmentation to create value and support financial objectives.
• Utilize market trends and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and inform future investments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering to align product roadmaps with business priorities.
• Coach and develop a team of product management professionals to foster a customer-focused culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or commercial leadership.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the Deerfield, Illinois campus.
• Experience in security, hardware, building products, or consumer durables industries.
• Proven experience managing large portfolios, P&L ownership, and financial decision-making.
• Ability to travel approximately 20–30%.

Nice to have

• MBA or other advanced degree.
• Experience with Stage-Gate or similar product development processes.
• Experience managing both established portfolios and innovation pipelines.
