Location: Washington, DC-based role with regular presence in the DC area for government, client, and policy stakeholders. Domestic and international travel may be required.
Salary: $161,900 - $171,500 USD

What you will do
- Define and drive strategy and governance for all China product initiatives, including editorial direction and analytical standards.
- Own the end-to-end China product roadmap and lead market analysis, competitive assessments, and customer research to shape roadmap decisions.
- Translate reverse engineering, teardown, and process analysis into defensible technical evidence and strategic intelligence for regulatory and geopolitical framing.
- Build and lead a cross-functional China product organization (analysts and technical product managers), including planning cycles, KPIs, hiring plan, and scaling model.
- Manage program schedules, budgets, deliverables, and business alignment; coordinate compliance and China ecosystem intelligence products to advance corporate strategy.
- Serve as executive sponsor for key accounts and represent in executive forums, conferences, and government-related briefings.
Requirements
- 10-12 years of progressive experience across the semiconductor industry, export control/national security policy, government, think tanks, or strategy consulting, including 5-7 years in leadership roles managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
- Proven track record building or leading a product line, practice, or intelligence function, including experience managing program budgets and P&L/revenue responsibilities.
- Deep understanding of the U.S.-China technology competition and its regulatory, strategic, and commercial implications for the semiconductor value chain.
- Familiarity with export control regimes and U.S.-China technology policy (e.g., BIS, Entity List, EAR, ECCN classification).
- Strong product management methodologies (Agile, roadmapping, stakeholder management) and ability to communicate complex technical and geopolitical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Advanced degree in relevant fields (International Relations, Public Policy, Economics, Engineering, Law, or related); MBA/PhD/Master’s/JD strongly preferred.
