What you will do

• Build relationships with Defense Health customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify mission needs and develop qualified federal business opportunities.
• Create and advance a focused Defense Health pipeline while opening new accounts.
• Develop teaming strategies with prime contractors, small businesses, and technology partners.
• Connect customer challenges with relevant technology and services, including cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and software engineering.
• Support opportunities through capture, proposal, award, and delivery in collaboration with executive, technical, and mission-focused teams.

Requirements

• Significant business development experience in the Defense Health or military-health market.
• Demonstrated success originating, shaping, and helping close new federal business.
• Ownership or meaningful contribution to federal contract awards totaling $10 million or more in contract value.
• Current relationships across Defense Health customer and partner communities.
• Strong knowledge of the Defense Health Agency, Military Health System, military medical organizations, or related acquisition environments.
• Ability to understand technical capabilities, ask informed questions, and engage subject-matter experts.
