What you will do

• Source, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target government agencies and industries.
• Drive the end-to-end capture lifecycle, from early opportunity shaping through proposal development and contract award.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers, decision-makers, and mission-critical use cases.
• Produce early capture deliverables including white papers, RFIs, tech demos, and capability briefings.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events to generate awareness and leads.
• Support contracting activities from initial proposal through administration and closeout.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or government contracting.
• Experience selling or supporting complex software solutions (AI/ML experience is a plus).
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR, OT, and general government contracting standards.
• Prior experience in both technology companies and government-facing organizations.
• Active security clearance preferred.
• Preference for candidates based in the Washington DC area.
