Maintenance Technician (Optical Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Obetz, Ohio

Salary: $28 - $30/hour

What you will do

• Maintain and repair a wide range of optical manufacturing equipment, balancing production support and preventative maintenance.
• Install and troubleshoot in-line manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Diagnose equipment issues using electronic testing tools, technical documentation, and standard instructions.
• Service and repair production equipment utilizing mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of ladder logic in PLC systems and familiarity with robotic equipment and legacy relay logic.
• Experience operating scissor lifts and forklifts.
• Ability to use a multimeter and work safely around 480V power systems.
• Proficiency with maintenance tracking software and the MCCS system.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
• Must be located in or be able to commute to Obetz, Ohio.

• Previous experience in optical manufacturing.
