TL;DR
Director, Commercial FP&A (SaaS): Managing Commercial Deal Operational Excellence and Contribution Margin Expansion to drive ARR growth and margin performance with an accent on strategic finance leadership and cross-functional GTM partnership. Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Ontario (must reside within commutable distance to the office)
Salary: $162,000 - $180,000 CAD + bonus + equity

What you will do
- Lead Commercial Deal Operational Excellence and Contribution Margin Expansion pillars.
- Drive AI transformation to revamp Commercial FP&A processes, improving speed, agility, and team capacity.
- Partner with GTM and Revenue Operations to evolve the governance and operational frameworks of the DealDesk function.
- Establish standards for deal quality, promotional programs, and commercial health metrics.
- Manage GTM resource allocation, capacity planning, and commission program design to maximize contribution margin.
- Lead and develop a team of FP&A professionals through coaching and performance management.
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance.
- Minimum 5 years in a technology or SaaS business (strict requirement).
- Meaningful experience with commercial topics (deal structure, contracting, pricing) and GTM functions (strict requirement).
- Ability to influence and communicate complex financial topics to C-suite and executive audiences.
- Deep expertise in SaaS financial metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI transformation in finance workflows.
- CPA or CFA designation.
