What you will do

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice intake, coding, approval routing, and payment processing.
• Execute daily cash monitoring and bank reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure capitalization policies follow US GAAP.
• Act as the primary contact for employee expense reports, corporate travel, and payroll accounting entries.
• Prepare journal entries for month-end close and support internal and external audit documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation during the ERP transition.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of accounting or financial operations experience, preferably in high-growth SaaS or startups.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of AP, cash reconciliation, and fixed asset accounting.
• Must be based in San Francisco for a hybrid work arrangement.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern finance tools such as NetSuite, Rippling, or Ramp.
• CPA certification or progress toward obtaining one.
