Controller (AI Security)

Location: Hybrid role in the NYC office, United States

Base salary: $200,000–$240,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and location.

What you will do

• Own the US subsidiary’s month-end close and revenue accounting under US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including billing and collections processes for enterprise customers.
• Support audits, tax filings, financial reporting, and multi-entity or international consolidations.
• Partner with Go-To-Market teams on complex deal structures, revenue treatment, pricing, margin analysis, and deal-desk processes.
• Work with HR on onboarding, benefits, and PEO systems while translating accounting requirements for non-finance stakeholders.
• Build scalable finance processes, strengthen controls and accounting policies, and evaluate AI tools for finance operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and an active CPA license.
• 4+ years of corporate accounting experience in technology or SaaS, or Big Four experience auditing technology clients.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606, with hands-on ownership of AR and AP.
• Experience in startup, high-growth, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS environments.
• Ability to use AI tools in accounting workflows and strong proficiency with technology stacks, ERP systems, and Excel.
• Experience or exposure to HubSpot, NetSuite, Mesh, HiBob, deal-desk, revenue operations, pricing, or international consolidations.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting enterprise customer enablement and complex B2B software deals.
• Exposure to AI, security, or emerging technology ecosystems.
