Project Scheduler P6

TL;DR

Project Scheduler P6 (Primavera P6/Utilities and Construction): Develop and analyze complex, integrated project schedules with an accent on critical path methodology, resource loading, schedule baselining, and milestone management. Focus on diagnosing schedule issues, identifying risks that may delay milestones, and guiding schedulers through technical planning and schedule analysis.

Location: Onsite in Columbus, Ohio, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Salary: $40–$60 per hour on W2, equivalent to approximately $6,400–$9,600 per month, with benefits available.

What you will do

• Define activities, durations, work sequences, relationship logic, and milestones for project scopes.
• Develop and maintain fully integrated schedules using critical path methodology, resource loading, and resource leveling.
• Analyze schedule status, risks, issues, and potential impacts to project milestones.
• Lead schedule reviews with project stakeholders and communicate schedule updates.
• Diagnose and resolve project scheduling issues.
• Own and improve standard work processes for project scheduling.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of recent Primavera P6 scheduling experience is required.
• Onsite availability in Columbus, Ohio, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. is required.
• A qualified bachelor's degree in a related field plus 8 years of qualified experience, or an associate's degree plus 10 years of qualified experience.
• Relevant fields include accounting, business, construction management, engineering, or project management.
• Experience in transmission, substations, construction, or engineering is preferred.
