Scrum Lead / Agile Coach

TL;DR

Scrum Lead / Agile Coach (Agile/SAFe): Coaching cross-functional teams to improve value delivery flow from idea generation through release with an accent on Professional Scrum practices and continuous improvement. Focus on removing delivery impediments, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and mentoring Product Owners in empirical product planning.

Location: Hybrid - Must be based in Texas (onsite Tuesday through Thursday, remote Monday and Friday)

Salary: $55 - $60 / Hour (W2)

What you will do

• Coach teams in Agile methodologies and Professional Scrum practices to enhance agility and delivery outcomes.
• Optimize the workflow from idea generation to release by identifying and reducing waste, bottlenecks, and impediments.
• Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Mentor Product Owners and Product Managers on empirical product planning, prioritization, and backlog management.
• Promote transparency using information radiators and clear visibility into risks and opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to drive Agile adoption and resolve conflicts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in an Agile environment.
• Active Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, SSM).
• Experience working within or supporting a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
• Strong knowledge of servant leadership, conflict resolution, and team empowerment.

• Experience driving Agile methodology and tool adoption across a cross-functional organization.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
