What you will do

• Prepare, organize, and review closing documents for conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA mortgage loans.
• Verify loan information, payment figures, escrows, prepaid interest, fees, and final Closing Disclosures.
• Balance wires with escrow and title providers and review executed documents for funding authorization.
• Coordinate with loan officers, processors, underwriters, settlement agents, branches, and approved agencies.
• Maintain the closing pipeline and meet delivery deadlines of 48 hours for refinances and 24 hours for purchases.
• Resolve closing and post-closing issues, including corrected documents, Post-Consummation CDs, and borrower refunds.

Requirements

• Five years of mortgage document preparation experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of investor closing policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of RESPA, TILA, Fair Lending, Flood requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Encompass is preferred.
• Ability to work Pacific Standard Time Zone hours while working remotely within the United States.
