What you will do

• Design mechanical structures and enclosures for sensors, interceptors, and other hardware components.
• Develop and iterate CAD models and technical drawings for new and existing systems.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes for rugged, weather-resistant field hardware.
• Apply design-for-manufacturability and design-for-assembly principles with production and procurement.
• Support prototyping, testing, and design iterations based on flight-test and field-deployment feedback.
• Collaborate with electronics, RF, and flight-test engineers to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems.

Requirements

• Strong background in mechanical design and CAD, including tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Onshape.
• Experience designing rugged, field-deployable hardware for manufacturability and assembly.
• Understanding of material selection for outdoor and weatherproof applications.
• Ability to work across the full hardware lifecycle, from concept through production.
• EU work authorization required.

Nice to have

• Experience with drone, robotics, or aerospace mechanical design.
• Experience with environmental hardening, IP ratings, or MIL-STD-810.
• Background in defense or other high-reliability hardware industries.
