Senior Mechanical Engineer (E-Mobility)

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Hypercharger products from concept through series production.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Perform mechanical strength calculations and support simulation activities to validate design solutions.
• Select materials and develop cost-effective mechanical concepts that meet performance, reliability, quality, and manufacturability requirements.
• Define validation criteria, qualify critical components, and evaluate innovative manufacturing technologies and processes.
• Collaborate with electronics, software, industrialization, testing, and manufacturing teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Several years of experience in mechanical product development, preferably with electromechanical products.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, strength calculations, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CAD software; SolidWorks proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English required; German and/or Italian are a plus.

• Total compensation starts from €74,000 gross per year, including a 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement.
