Mechanical System Installation Design Engineer (d/f/m) (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design and verify mechanical system installations for external outboard equipment and fuel systems.
• Perform concept studies and create 3D parts in CATIA.
• Create and modify 2D drawings and manage product data in SAP, Windchill, and ENOVIA VPM.
• Prepare certification and qualification documentation.
• Plan development projects and design changes, including requirements, deliverables, workload estimates, and change analysis.
• Define subcontracting work packages, support manufacturing and industrialization, and contribute to technical customer support and continuing airworthiness investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with additional qualification or a Master's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field; alternatively, completed vocational training with technician qualification and relevant extended experience.
• Advanced proficiency in mechanical part design or fuel-system component design, preferably with CATIA.
• Experience with technical change management and product data management tools such as ENOVIA VPM, SAP, Windchill, or similar systems.
• Experience working in agile teams and contributing to continuous improvement.
• English at negotiation level is required.
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering and extensive experience working with LLMs and image generators.
