Design Engineer (m/f/d) (FEA)

Location: Freiburg, Germany, at hirify.global GmbH sites Neuer Messplatz and TDK Micronas

hirify.global develops and industrializes a gas-to-wafer manufacturing platform for next-generation engineered silicon wafers used in solar applications.

What you will do

• Execute structural, mechanical, and multidisciplinary simulations for CVD tools and components.
• Own CAD model preprocessing and improve simulation workflows and processing efficiency.
• Define simulation context and requirements in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Analyze data and simulation results to support engineering decisions.
• Present findings and recommendations in team meetings and Design Reviews.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, materials, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of design experience.
• Experience with COMSOL or Ansys for FEA of composite structures, including dynamics.
• Experience with thermo-mechanical analysis is highly desired.
• Fluent English is required.
• Self-starting, collaborative, curious, and strong in problem-solving and communication.
