What you will do

• Provide direct supervision to team members to achieve weekly and monthly operational plans.
• Review production schedules, materials, and manpower resources to maximize production objectives.
• Monitor and manage costs and workforce plans relative to the team.
• Recommend and implement changes in materials, equipment, and procedures to improve operational methods.
• Analyze data and resolve complex problems affecting production schedules and product quality.
• Lead shop floor audits to improve area safety and process efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Experience supporting organizational changes.

Nice to have

• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense, or US Military.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Proven history of root cause identification and corrective action planning.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel and work extended hours or weekends as necessary.
