What you will do

• Lead daily execution on the manufacturing floor, translating production plans into clear daily directions for the team.
• Manage frontline staff, including performance coaching, attendance, and skill development.
• Ensure strict compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and internal quality and safety procedures.
• Provide situational hands-on support for training, critical build steps, and recovery from disruptions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to refine processes, improve yields, and support new product introductions.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen activities.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• 3-6+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
• Prior experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP or production tracking systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and process specifications.

Nice to have

• Experience with UAV assembly or complex electromechanical builds.
• Certification or training in Lean Six Sigma.
• Experience managing avionics production, CNC machining, or advanced composites.
• Experience with First Article Inspections (FAI) and MRB processes.
