What you will do
- Own shift-level execution against the build plan, including output, takt, and WIP management.
- Enforce adherence to standard work, process controls, and quality discipline on the production floor.
- Direct and prioritize technician work in real-time to eliminate bottlenecks and downtime.
- Implement visual management systems and drive structured problem-solving (5-Why, root cause analysis).
- Coordinate with Material, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure material and tooling readiness.
- Develop team capability through coaching, on-the-job training, and performance accountability.
Requirements
- 8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in high-rate environments.
- Strong expertise in lean manufacturing systems and standard work.
- Proven ability to manage technicians and drive disciplined execution.
- Hands-on experience with structured problem-solving and managing production constraints.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing Toyota Production System principles.
- Background in electronics, hardware, aerospace, or defense manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP and MES systems.
- Experience with tiered accountability systems.
