What you will do

• Design and develop high-voltage systems and subsystems, including HV batteries, battery management systems, battery packs, charging systems, HV distribution, power electronics, and electrified powertrains.
• Define and maintain system architectures, requirements, interfaces, and traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Lead integration, verification, validation, acceptance, and commissioning activities for battery and HV systems.
• Ensure compliance with HV safety standards, electrical regulations, battery safety requirements, customer specifications, and functional safety expectations.
• Perform hazard analyses, system-level risk assessments, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, and customer teams; provide technical guidance and clarify system requirements and interfaces.

Requirements

• Technical high school diploma and/or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4–7 years of experience in battery systems, high-voltage systems, electrification systems, energy storage systems, automotive systems engineering, or a related area.
• Experience with battery development projects, HV power distribution systems, charging systems, power electronics, or electric propulsion systems.
• Solid understanding of high-voltage electrical systems, HV safety principles, electrical protection concepts, and electrified vehicle architectures.
• Familiarity with battery management systems, charging technologies, and energy storage systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Business-fluent English.
