Electronic Hardware Designer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Own the full electronic hardware lifecycle from specification definition through prototyping, debugging, and board bring-up.
• Design high-power-density BLDC/PMSM motor driver boards with a focus on efficiency, thermal management, and reliability.
• Develop analog and digital interfaces for tactile sensors, force/torque sensors, strain gauges, and absolute or incremental encoders.
• Design power distribution units, internal robot power architecture, and battery management electronics including cell balancing and safety functions.
• Prepare multilayer, HDI, and rigid-flex PCB design notes and layouts with attention to signal and power integrity.
• Work closely with mechanical and control experts in an integrated mechatronic development process.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 3–5+ years of experience designing electronic boards, including schematics and layouts, preferably in automation, automotive, or robotics.
• Proficiency with Siemens Xpedition; experience with PADS Professional or Standard is beneficial.
• Autonomy in prototyping, soldering, debugging, and using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
• Strong foundation in analog, digital, and power electronics.
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience designing MPSoC or FPGA-based boards, including Zynq or UltraScale+.
• Knowledge of EtherCAT and CAN/CAN-FD industrial communication buses.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance standards.
